Using the Charcoal Stick (soft)
Charcoal stick: soft
Features
- Square cross-section allows for fine lines at the corners and broad strokes of tone across the ends.
- "Soft" is a relative term. No charcoal stick in this form factor is soft compared to charcoal in blocks or in vine charcoal form. This hardness, however is just right for quick and expressive sketching without having to swap tools during the process.
- It is quite sturdy and will never break while drawing.
- At only 8cm length it's quite handy to carry around and use with an A5 sketch book, both will fit neatly into an average handbag. Add a pack of hand wipes and you are good to go!
- This is my preferred drawing tool.
